Conclusion

We made it! By now we’re recording pros and know the ins and outs of all the sounds around the school!

From the music room to the lobby, we know which sounds come from where. We know the quietest closets and the boomiest hallways. More importantly, we know how to identify sounds based on their characteristics such as frequency, amplitude, and texture.

As we continue our discussions on sound, don’t forget that you’re never too far away from a new sound — sometimes all you have to do is stop and listen!
